Have you ever asked or prayed for miracles, or are you always praying general prayers ?
You can specifically ask God for one or more miracles in your life, He will surely respond.
3 John 1:2 Beloved, I wish above all things that thou mayest prosper and be in health, even as thy soul prospereth.
Acts 8:6 And the people with one accord gave heed unto those things which Philip spake, hearing and seeing the miracles which he did.
God can do anything and all people can experience miracles both great and small when they believe in Him and He is invited to come into their lives and intervene. Often people neglect to ask God for miracles and settle for their current situation and what they presently have. Anybody who believes, loves and trusts in His Son Jesus can Specifically ask for miracles from God. Be specific, do not just pray general prayers, open your mouth, ask God to surprise you with a miracle or miracles. He knows where exactly you need them most, they will be your’s for the asking.
Matthew 7:7-11 Ask, and it shall be given you; seek, and ye shall find; knock, and it shall be opened unto you: For every one that asketh receiveth; and he that seeketh findeth; and to him that knocketh it shall be opened. Or what man is there of you, whom if his son ask bread, will he give him a stone? Or if he ask a fish, will he give him a serpent? If ye then, being evil, know how to give good gifts unto your children, how much more shall your Father which is in heaven give good things to them that ask him?
Before The Miracles.
John 2:11 This beginning of miracles did Jesus in Cana of Galilee, and manifested forth his glory; and his disciples believed on him.
John 6:26 Jesus answered them and said, Verily, verily, I say unto you, Ye seek me, not because ye saw the miracles, but because ye did eat of the loaves, and were filled.
Acts 2:22 Ye men of Israel, hear these words; Jesus of Nazareth, a man approved of God among you by miracles and wonders and signs, which God did by him in the midst of you, as ye yourselves also know:
First believe and Seek God’s Presence
Simply seek God’s presence in your trials. Do not worry about your prayers not being perfect. Simply invite God and trust him to do what is best for you. In cases when nothing happens, know that it is probably what is best for you. Sometimes unfortunate things happen so there will be room for bigger and better things and only at this point will you realize why God allowed certain things to happen.
John 6:2 And a great multitude followed him, because they saw his miracles which he did on them that were diseased.
Have Enough Faith
Judges 6:13 And Gideon said unto him, Oh my Lord, if the LORD be with us, why then is all this befallen us? and where be all his miracles which our fathers told us of, saying, Did not the LORD bring us up from Egypt? but now the LORD hath forsaken us, and delivered us into the hands of the Midianites.
Many times we pray to God asking Him for miracles but we do not have enough faith that He will deliver what we are asking, even to the size of the mustard seed.. Because of this lack of faith, we ask questions . God is believed to be keen at granting only things that will be good for you, even when we are asking a –miss He puts us through. sometimes miracles don’t happen because of lack of faith and praying amiss amongst others.
Hope and faith are two poles apart ,Many Christians pray with hope but not faith. You will know that you have faith when you can “relax” in a dire situation because you truly believe that God and only God in heaven will take care of the situation.
Love God and Avoid Sin
If you love God, you should avoid sin. Not sinning or at least trying to stop sinning will show God that you are doing your best to follow Him. Following Him is the best way that you can show that you love
Him because He will see that it is important for you to please him. Do not stop committing sins just because you want miracles or just because you want his favor. You should stop committing sins simply because you love God and you should not expect anything in return. You cannot make deals with God. You can’t tell Him that you will stop stealing if he cures your sick daughter first. Show him that you love Him first even when you do not need any miracles and the rest will follow.
Be Compassionate and Learn to Forgive
Romans 3:23 For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; often people seek God’s forgiveness especially when they are in dire need of a face-saving miracle . If they fail to receive their miracles, not because God is not interested in giving them their heart desires but because they have not learnt to forgive others. you can freely forgive other people you have hurt you and people who have wronged you, then God will forgive you too. When you are compassionate towards others then God will be compassionate to you to, if you are not passionate towards others, do not expect God to play the opposite.
Pray to God for help so you may understand His will and love Him whether or not He grants you what you are asking for or not. Ask for more faith and ask that He helps you fight evil and avoid sin. Ask Him for forgiveness and to help you be forgiving and compassionate to other people. God knows what is in your heart. In all this, remember that God will always do what is best for you because he loves you.
Ask for a Miracle, expect a Miracle.
